Carol brings a unique approach to the practice of law having significant experience both as a litigator and as a transactional attorney. As a seasoned litigator, Carol has practiced in the state trial courts and federal courts, including motions practice, discovery disputes, jury selection, and trying cases to verdict. Her litigation practice also encompasses appellate court matters having briefed and argued cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Supreme Court.
On the transactional side, Carol has significant experience in the areas of business and corporate law, estate planning, and commercial real estate. Her commercial real estate practice includes representing landlords and tenants in leasing single and multi-tenant facilities, and representing buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of commercial real estate with transactions ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to multi-million dollar deals.
Carol strives to provide her clients with effective representation, which includes tailoring each case to the client’s specific needs and goals.
